I attend the club meetings and spend my time working with other veterans being engaged in my school community.

Washington State University Black Student Union and Spokane Falls Community College Black Student Union
I am an active member of my community. I actively participate in clubs at school. I have been the Black Student Union Preseident twice at the collegeant level.
Some of the duties that I preformed as President of the Black Student Union were to conduct meeting, attend Student Government meeting, write the club constitution, create meeting agendas, event planning, club recruitment, advertisement for club activities, public speaking, and community volunteer work.
Activities
Tirelessly, I continue my personal developement and focus on my studies. My major is Sociology. However, I am well versed in Psychology, Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Cultural Studies as well.
I am constantly traveling to different states and countires learning about different people, view points, and cultures.
Odyssey World International Educational Services
During my senior year of high school and first year of college I was involved in running volunteer projects with Odyssey.
I was in charge of recruitment and a group of volunteers. I recruited local teens from my high school in order to collect, organize, and prepare donations for shipment to children in need in Africa. We gathered both school supplies and clothes to provide aid. I was responsible for overseeing the volunteers work and assisting with events.
My volunteers and I also helped refugees who had been forced to come to the States with becoming integrated. We also helped with teaching English and helping with transition.
